New Years Day

Posted on Jan 1st, 2009 by Lisette4 : Gaia Child Lisette4
Today is New Year's day and what an appropriate day to start my blog or journal. Today is a day of beginnings of fresh new starts and I feel that this year will be different from other years and I know I always say that but I mean it this time. The year has started with some changes my old 104 year old uncle passed a couple of days ago so my family has to adjust to this change.

Yesterday something curious happened my Mom sent me a Happy New Years message. (Which of course is odd considering she died when I was 19 which is a total of 19 years ago) Anyway I was driving to pick up my husband Ray at work he had to work from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am last night New Year's Eve and I was listening to the radio as I was driving so that I would not fall asleep because I was a little tired and I thought about my mom and how I missed her and how I wish I could have spent New Year's with her as I often feel on holidays and special occasions and all of a sudden I heard her all time favorite song one that she recorded before she died and that she would play all the time. If you think about it it was so appropriate for this moment and the song was "I Just Called to Say I Love You" by Stevie Wonder. As I heard the lyrics and the melody I realized it was a message from her. She was thinking about me as well and she was just calling to say she loves me. I love you too mom!!!

A Journey of Two Soulmates

Posted on Dec 27th, 2008 by Lisette4 : Gaia Child Lisette4

A Journey of Two Soulmates

The moon illuminates the dark night, the fire rages on and the gypsy woman dances to a feverish pace. The sounds of violins can be heard in the stillness all around. Two soulmates reunite and the ceremony comes to a close. Passion lights the embers of the fire, then death fills the air and they are seperated once more.

Dawn is breaking and there is silence, silence all around. Not even a ripple in the river. The river Nile, long and vast and so deep. Two souls meet by the river, their eyes show longing, happiness, the wait is finally over, at last they are together. The only witness to their love are the mighty pyramids that appear like sparkling jewels in the background of a rich tapestry. But it is not meant to be for death comes knocking once more to tear apart what the universe has tried to forever unite.

Deep in the jungle, the drums are beating faster and faster rising to an endless crescendo. A figure is brought to the center and then another joins in. The air is filled with hope, passion, and deep longing. Will it finally end? Will these two souls finally be together for all eternity? The medicine woman performs the ritual and the star crossed lovers have been united. Two soulmates waiting through ages of suffering and deep longing to finally be together.

In one brief moment the universe has given it's approval, and two souls have now become one. A soulmate is the other half of your being. It is the fire that burns within you. Life without your soulmate is like a world punished by an eternal winter. Lucky are those that experience the spark of recognition when they meet such a soul and are able to embrace them and hold them fast for all eternity.
